Inspired by the yakshis and apsaras, mythical female spirits, this piece represents a spiritual 'fairy''. Posed in the traditional Tribhanga stance, this one lives in my spirit world, dancing and twirling around with her fluid movements and long, winding braid, shimmering between the trees. She's hard to catch - when she moves she appears to just be a flickering of the light, but the purple of her braid is unmistakeable. Though I may not fully see her, though she appears a bit intimidating, I know she watches over me.
